CAR SEAT INSPECTIONS

  • Has your car seat been recalled?
  • When can I turn my baby’s car seat around to face forward?
  • To what age should my child be in a safety seat?
  • Why doesn’t my car seat stay tight in my car?
These questions and others are what parents have asked at least once. Aldine Fire & Rescue partners with Safe Kids Greater Houston to host two dates for Car Seat Inspection every year to ensure your child is safe in their seat. The check takes about 30 minutes and is held at Fire Station 31.
Be prepared to learn to install the seat yourself!

COVID-19 Update:
We are now offering a Virtual Car Seat Education option, where a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician will assist you virtually via an app where you will not need to leave your house! Call our car seat line 832-822-2277 or email for more information about this option.
Due to increasing concerns related to COVID-19, and our focus on providing a safe, high-quality service to the community, we have made the decision to cancel all upcoming in-person events and local inspection stations until further notice. We are making this change to ensure we protect everyone within the community. Thank you for your support and attention on this matter. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
We will be doing our best to keep our website up-to-date. As we begin to open any sites up they will appear on our event calendar along with the information of how to go about booking an appointment.
If you have any car seat related questions in the mean time we will be checking our car seat line daily, as well as our website submissions, and Facebook page. Feel free to reach out and we will assist you the best we can for the time being.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
